Pressure washing for fleets and transport depots
A depot wash area should fit the vehicles and the people using it. We help compare mobile equipment and permanent cleaning points, taking the daily washing routine and available site services into account.
Work out the busiest washing period
Tell us which vehicles you clean, how many pass through the wash area and how long each wash normally takes. Include whether two people need to wash at once. That gives a more useful starting point than choosing by maximum pressure alone.
Plan reach, storage and access
Map the vehicle positions, furthest cleaning point and route back to hose storage. Think about how people move around the vehicle and where the controls can be reached. For a fixed station, leave access for inspection and servicing as part of the layout.
Compare a mobile machine with a fixed station
A mobile HD machine can be considered where equipment needs to move. An HSC fixed hot-water station keeps the machine in a dedicated position. For electric water heating, compare HSC Electric against the electrical capacity available at the depot.
Idro’s view
We’d look at the wash area before the machine. The right position and hose arrangement can make each wash simpler and help the equipment get put away properly.
Parts and support
Keep the exact machine model, serial number and pump reference with your maintenance records. Ask us to identify a replacement part before ordering if the reference or fit is uncertain. For repairs, check our servicing information and coverage.
Talk through your setup
Send a wash-area photograph or sketch, vehicle types, expected daily use and your available services.
