Thermal Relief Valve 1/2"M is a thermal relief valve.
A thermal relief valve releases heated water from a pump bypass circuit at its specified temperature. It helps manage heat when water recirculates, but it is different from a pressure-relief valve and does not make prolonged closed-trigger running acceptable.
